Celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the 13th Annual Fiestas Patrias

Denver, CO -- Come celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the 13th Annual Fiestas Patrias featuring today’s most popular Latin artists, including Los Norteños de Ojinaga, Los Marineros del Norte and Los Tiranos del Norte.  Headlining the event is can’t-miss musical performances by Adolfo Urias and Los Morros del Norte. Also, don’t miss the official “Grito de Dolores” at 5:00 p.m. at the Greek Theater, where Juan Marcos Gutierrez, General Consul of Mexico in Denver, will preside over the event.  The ceremony will be presented in the same manner as it is in Mexico and will feature a flag parade by the Charros de Kiowa, the Mexican national anthem and a performance by the national award winning Mexican dance troupe, Ballet Folklorico Juvenil Viva Mexico. Proceeds from all beverage sales will benefit the Hispanic Annual Salute and the Community College of Denver Foundation.
