Univision’s Objetivo Fama 2 and Telefutura Seek Rising Stars at Objectivo Fama 2 Hollywood Auditions
Miami, FL -- “Objectivo Fama 2” (Objective Fame 2) auditions have come to Miami. Auditions will take place on Saturday, November 20 from 8:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. at the Venevision International Theatre located at 1560 South Dixie Highway in Coral Gables, Florida.
The largest talent search for Hispanic talent in the United States will occur between November 6 and November 20, 2004. The auditions will take place in six additional cities including New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Houston. The winner will sign a contract with Univision Music, and receive $ 25,000 in cash.
The top 18 finalists will receive intense professional training for 14 weeks in Puerto Rico. Experts will train the finalists in singing, technique, dance, theatre, image, and fashion. Their stay, training, and interaction will be recorded and broadcast through television. The goal is to discover diamonds in the rough and turn them into shining stars.
Those interested in auditioning must be between 18 and 28-years-old, know how to dance, sing in Spanish, and be a resident of the United States or Puerto Rico.
“Objetivo Fama 1” was a grand success in Puerto Rico: more than three million calls were received; 35,000 records were sold; and two coliseums were filled to capacity with thousands of fans. Janina Irizarry, 20-years-old, was the grand winner.
