Miami, FL -- Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE: UVN), the nation’s leading Spanish-language media company, today announced that former Miami-Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas has joined Univision WLTV-23 Miami’s award-winning news department as its exclusive political expert and analyst.
Elected in 1996 as Miami-Dade County’s first Executive Mayor, Penelas served two terms overseeing the 4th largest county government in the country.
