Telefutura 69 Premieres First Local News Segment “Noticias En Noventa”
Miami, FL -- TeleFutura 69 will soon bring viewers the day’s top local news in less than two minutes with the addition of “Noticias en Noventa” (“News in Ninety”). The 90-second segment, hosted by reporter and anchor Pamela Silva, will air during the new weeknight primetime news and information program “TeleFutura En Vivo y Directo”.
“Noticias en Noventa” is TeleFutura 69’s first local news product. The segment aims to present the day’s top stories with a fresh perspective and sleek style. The mini-newscast will air during the fourth break of the hour-long “En Vivo y En Directo”, the first primetime Spanish-language news program, which debuted on October 17 and airs at 7 p.m. The show offers Hispanic viewers the latest national and international news along with a wide range of information and entertainment stories live from TeleFutura’s state-of-the-art studios.
“Noticias en Noventa” anchor Pamela Silva is not new to TeleFutura. She’s one of “Escándalo TV”’s Miami-based entertainment reporters, a contributing reporter for Telefutura 69’s “Ritmo Comunitario” as well as the station’s spokesperson. Silva has also reported at the network level for Univision shows “Control”, “Caliente” and “El Gordo y La Flaca” plus network specials “Noche de Estrellas” and “Acceso Total.”
Silva was born in Lima, Peru, and has been a Miami resident since the age of nine. She graduated with honors from Florida International University’s journalism program and is currently earning a Master’s degree in Mass Communications at St. Thomas University.
