Despierta América Goes on the Road

Hispanic America’s Favorite Morning Show Will Air Special Segments From Several Cities Including San Antonio And New York During The Month Of November


Miami, FL -- FRIDAY, NOV. 1st – CO-HOST ANA MARIA CANSECO, LIVE IN SAN ANTONIO
Ana María travels to Texas this week to bring viewers a unique look into El Día de Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) celebrations, a popular Mexican tradition. Between 6 and 9 a.m. Central, the show will air live segments from Market Square, with special guests Mariachi Campanas de América, famous Tejano singer Jennifer Peña, magician Cornilio García and many others. Ana María will also visit the popular boutique where clientele such as George Bush shop for some of the most expensive hats in the world.

LIVE FROM NEW YORK
Monday: Fernando, joined by Despierta América’s N.Y. correspondent, Ana Maria Belaval, will be at Fordham Plaza in the Bronx to host contests, the appearance of well-known guests popular to the New York area, performances by famous pop-merengue band Proyecto Uno and El General, and a visit from “El Supercompadre.”
Tuesday: Fernando’s hilarious character, D’Fern, will be kicking off his national fitness tour from Duffy Square in Times Square, which will be the backdrop for lively entertainment such as games, fashion, and a live performance by the band Oro Sólido.
