KTVW Univision 33 receives Aptra® Award and nominations.
Station is recognized in numerous categories.
Phoenix, AZ -- KTVW Univision 33 is proud to announce that its acclaimed news team from “Noticias Univision 33” has earned the award for Best Anchor, as well as five nominations across various categories, from the Associated Press Television and Radio Association’s (APTRA) Mark Twain Awards, which will be given out at a ceremony on June 27, 2009 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
KTVW Univision 33 news anchor Mary Rabago has been honored with the award for Best Anchor. The awards gala is part of APTRA’s 62nd annual convention weekend which has many activities including social events, workshops and a media day at Universal Studios Hollywood.
The nominations range on a wide variety of topics, including technical and talent categories. The list of nominees is as follows:
