KTVW Univision 33 Wins Eight Emmy® Awards
Station Receives Awards for Ninth Consecutive Year
Phoenix, AZ -- KTVW Univision 33 is the proud recipient of eight 2009 Emmy® awards from the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The ceremony took place Saturday, October 24th, 2009 at the Sheraton Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona.
Univision 33’s news and promotions departments all contributed to the successful night. This is the ninth consecutive year that KTVW has received the coveted Emmy awards. In addition, Univision 33 is the only Spanish-language television station in the Phoenix market to receive awards consistently during the last nine years. In a year which marks the 30th anniversary of KTVW Univision 33 in Phoenix, these awards once again demonstrates Univision’s commitment to quality shows and in-depth news investigations that look to improve the daily life of its audiences.
