Yolanda Perez Poised for Continued Success on Sophomore Album “Aqui me Tienes”

Woodland Hills, CA -- Lauded as the ‘next big thing’ by the Los Angeles Times, Yolanda Perez captured the attention of Latino families in the United States thanks to her urban regional/banda hybrid hit song “Estoy Enamorada, “ that peaked at No.7 on the Latin Billboard airplay music charts.

On Yolanda Perez’s sophomore CD/DVD titled “Aqui Me Tienes” she showcases her strong vocal abilities with romantic overtones. Poised for more groundbreaking success, this album was produced by Pepe Garza as well as the renowned Valenzuela Twiins who are credited for working a youthful brand of contemporary banda sounds.

On “Aqui Me Tienes” fans can expect a unique and modern brand of banda music that originates from the state of Zacatecas, her parents’ native home.  In addition, the album features other musical rhythms such as: corrido, ranchero, cumbia and hip-hop influences.

The CD includes 12 songs & three bonus tracks. Standout tracks are: "Aqui Me Tienes” an R& B song written by Yolanda Perez presented in Spanish and English versions;  "Juran y Juran" a hip-hop track, a duet with popular L.A.-based rapper Sporty Loco that talks about modern love and deception. This song is also presented in a version with a slight twist of urban regional and Norteño; the first single "Cuando" is a magnificent contemporary banda song written by Pepe Garza and the festive corrido titled "Corrido De La Potranquita" that tells the story of Yolanda Perez’s rise to stardom written by Martin Rubalcava and Adolfo Valenzuela of Twiins.
In a significant continuation of her hit song "Estoy Enamorada" featuring popular L.A. on-air personality Don Cheto, the track "La Reina Del Mall” (the mall queen) is a witty song that speaks about a young girls’ fascination with shopping at the mall and a conservative Mexican father who opposes her over spending on clothes.

The incredible DVD presents an array of exclusive footage of Yolanda’s burgeoning career such as: exclusive ‘Live’ performance of the hit son "Estoy Enamorada" recorded at Pico Rivera, California. The music videos "Juran y Juran” and "Cuando,” along with behind the scenes of her fashion makeover and the album photo shoot. Plus interviews with producers Pepe Garza & Twiins Valenzuela, a special message from Yolanda Perez for her fans and an exclusive photo gallery.

With her new album “Aqui Me Tienes,” the future is now. Whether working with some of today's top producers and composers, she has made an album that's not only an achievement, but also a promise. "To keep writing, exploring and growing, that's what I'm passionate about," she says. "For me, this is a long term thing."
