Univision y Hispanic Broadcasting Reciben Solicitud del Departamento de Justicia de Información Adicional Sobre la Fusión Pendiente

Los Angeles, CA - Dallas, TX -- Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE: UVN) and Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation (NYSE: HSP) today announced that they have received a request for additional information from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) pertaining to Univision’s pending acquisition of Hispanic Broadcasting.

The companies intend to work with the DOJ and respond promptly to the request for additional information.  The companies continue to expect the transaction to close by the end of the year. 

This “second request” was issued under notification requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976.
